"Ez a nap úgy az emlékünkben, mint a történelemben, örökre pirosbetűs lesz.
Mint ahogy az ember nem tehet arról, hogy a világ mely részén születik, az anyanyelve sem az ő érdeme.
Arról már mi tehetünk, hogy a sors ahová rendelt, ott milyen emberek vagyunk, és hogyan álljuk meg helyünket.
Bár legtöbb jelenlévő dolgozott már több, kevesebb ideig a szülőföldtől távol, a honvágy mindig hazahozta, hiszen
"ismerünk itt minden követ, tudjuk a fák nevét,
ismerjük a hosszú őszek lombsúgarú melegét."
Nekünk nagyszüleink éltek már magyar állampolgárként.
Nem várunk anyagi előrehaladást, de lélekben megnyugtat, hogy annak az országnak, melynek nyelvét beszéljük, befogad és hivatalosan is elismer. Mi szülőföldünkön szeretnénk maradni, - az országhatárok azok költözhetnek – és országunk teljes értékű állampolgára lenni. Hogy testvérfelunkban tettünk fogadalmat az azt bizonyítja, hogy évekkel ezelőtt bennük igazi testvérekre találtunk.
Ezzel az esküvel szeretnénk megerősíteni, hogy bár még határ választ el, lélekben együvé tartozunk, Wass Albertet idézve „együtt erő vagyunk, szanaszét gyöngeség.”
Örömmel fogadunk mi is minden dénesfait és kisalföldit és azt szeretnénk, ha ők is hozzánk haza jönnének.
